Seems a little harsh to sentence him to 2 years since people on the streets are shooting each other every night and not many of them go to jail at all.
I think he got a little extra because he's a jerk and he's famous. Also he's dumb. He could have done 3 months and turned it down and now he's doing 2 years. Probably didn't take a lot of math in his degree studies at Michigan State.
I'm going on a limb and predicting he didn't get his degree. Maybe he can 'bone' up on his studies in prison.
