Watched the interview and my observation is the following. 100% lies. Well, maybe that's being too harsh, 99% lies.

got patted down and got let in, nope (nightclub would be sued and bodyguards would lose their jobs, no way).

gun fell down inside pants and he grabbed it and it went off, nope (impossible to grabbed trigger and pull hard enough for glock to go off, verified by lots of gun guys)

here's a scenario - snuck a gun in, was showing it off with his finger in the trigger, pulled the trigger by accident and shot himself.

now this might not be correct but closer than his concocted story.
