Most relieved guy in the building for the Magic has to be Stan Van Gundy. After witnessing LeBron play 1 on 1 for a quarter and personally score or hand out scores on every possession, Van Gundy was able to sit back and relax as the Cavs reverted back to Plan B. Or maybe it was their Plan A. Who knows?
Mike Brown's decision to play team ball and share the ball and rely on Wiliams, West, Szcerbiak and Gibson to win Game 6 on the road will be contested by critics throughout the offseason. Even the announcers were asking, 'when are they going to put the ball back into LeBron's hands?'
We won't know now. The Magic advance and the King's eyes turn to the Big Apple. Coach Brown should consider himself lucky he is not the Knicks coach because they would be running him out of town this morning on WFAN.

Not so sure the Magic won the series verses the idea that the Cavs lost it. The Cavs were clearly out coached. Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteThe series was cool in all, but can you talk about why "Queen James" couldn't get his ass off the floor and shake hands and give an interview?
ReplyDeleteVery interesting "anonymous." I was just having this conversation in my office the other day. I think James has every right to walk off the court, but he should have stayed and answered questions.
